01 — THE BRIEF
Two groups around one unlit fireplace. The losers believe wanting the fire is enough to have it. They think they're owed it because they think they're somebody. The successful ones spent all day hauling firewood, know exactly what it costs, and don't consider themselves somebody at all. That humility is the reason they are.
Successful people experience failure more often than the failures who consider themselves successful. You have to go and get it, whatever the cost. You might not get another chance.

— SCRIPT / EXCERPT —
MARGRET
Why are y'all staring at the wood instead of lighting a fire?
ULIANA (smoking)
I don't even need to light it. I just need to have it.
MAINE
You can't make fire by only needing the fire. You have to search over and over and over. Even after all the failures.
MARGRET
You don't earn anything you didn't get tortured to get.
BASEL (ending shot)
You have to go and get it no matter the cost. You might not get another one again.
